Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today to discuss critical developmental priorities for the state.


The meeting reflected a strong spirit of Centre-State synergy, essential for fulfilling the shared vision of “Samruddha Odisha, Viksit Bharat.”

Majhi conveyed his deep gratitude to the Prime Minister for his unwavering inspiration and support towards Odisha’s growth journey. He emphasised that through sustained collaboration with the Centre, the state is poised to accelerate its transformation across key sectors such as infrastructure, employment, social welfare, and connectivity.

The leaders discussed current and future initiatives that could further Odisha’s overall progress. Topics included strategic planning for inclusive development, fostering grassroots empowerment, and ensuring smooth coordination between central and state agencies.

Majhi reiterated his government’s dedication to working hand in hand with the Centre in building a prosperous Odisha that contributes significantly to India’s national development goals.

This high-level meeting is seen as a reaffirmation of both leaders’ commitment to cooperative federalism and inclusive governance.
