Bhubaneswar: As the process has begun for the ministry reshuffle in Naveen Patnaik’s cabinet, all ministers resigned from the State Cabinet on Saturday.
They submitted their resignation to the Deputy Speaker while a new cabinet is likely to be sworn in at around 11.45 am on Sunday.
According to sources, some 14 to 15 ministers, including Skill Development & Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak, and Transport Minister Padmanabha Behera, have resigned ahead of the cabinet reshuffle.
The rejig is touted as a major exercise to strengthen and rejuvenate the party ahead of the crucial 2024 general elections.
