The Odisha Cabinet convened its 29th meeting on October 25, 2025, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
The session, held at the conference room in Lok Seva Bhawan, focused on advancing departmental initiatives to boost sectoral growth and public welfare.
Following the meeting, the Chief Secretary briefed the media on the outcomes, highlighting the cabinet’s commitment to efficient decision-making.
A total of five proposals from four key departments were thoroughly discussed and unanimously approved, signalling progress in critical areas of the state’s economy and infrastructure.
The approved proposals include one each from the Fisheries and Animal Resources Department, the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department, and the Commerce and Transport Department. Additionally, two proposals from the Housing and Urban Development Department received the green light.
These decisions are expected to enhance fisheries management, agricultural empowerment, transportation efficiency, and urban housing projects, though specific details of the proposals were not disclosed in the press briefing.
