The Odisha Cabinet on Friday approved 11 key proposals spanning eight state government departments during its 34th meeting, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the Lok Seva Bhawan.
Briefing the media after the meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg stated that all proposals placed before the Cabinet received unanimous approval following detailed deliberations. The decisions aim to strengthen administrative efficiency and accelerate development initiatives across multiple sectors in the state.
According to the Chief Secretary, the Cabinet approved one proposal each from the Industries Department, Home Department, Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Tourism Department, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, and the Revenue Department.
Additionally, the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department presented three proposals, while the Water Resources Department placed two proposals before the Cabinet.
“These decisions reflect the government’s commitment to inclusive growth, effective governance, and sector-wise development,” Anu Garg said.
The approved proposals are expected to have a positive impact on public service delivery, infrastructure development, and policy implementation across Odisha.
