The Nyaya Sanhita Exhibition at Bhubaneswar’s Exhibition Ground is drawing crowds with street plays that vividly explain India’s new criminal laws.

Odisha Police organised the performances to educate citizens about legal reforms in an engaging way.

Artists presented the provisions of the new laws, focusing on victims’ rights, scientific investigation methods, and speedy justice delivery. The plays showcased the entire justice process, from crime scene to High Court, in a coordinated and educational style.

Ten stalls approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs highlighted different aspects of the justice system. These included crime scene investigation, emergency helpline 112, police station operations, hospital coordination, forensic laboratories, public prosecution, district courts, prisons, and High Court procedures.

Audiences witnessed dramatisations that made complex legal processes easy to understand. The performances illustrated how police investigations connect with forensic science and judicial proceedings, helping citizens grasp the relevance of the new laws.

The exhibition attracted strong interest from visitors, including students and the general public. Odisha Police emphasised that such awareness programs aim to build trust and ensure people understand their rights and responsibilities under the new criminal justice framework.

By combining education with entertainment, the Nyaya Sanhita Exhibition has become a platform for spreading awareness about reforms and strengthening public confidence in the justice system.
