A woman from Odisha’s Nuapada district gave birth to four baby girls, creating excitement in her village and the surrounding areas.
Pushpa Dhru, wife of Bhojram Majhi from Chohakapada village under Kurumpur Panchayat in Komna block, delivered quadruplet daughters. She was initially admitted to a government hospital in Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh. After delivery, both mother and newborns were shifted by ambulance to Raipur’s Mekahara Hospital for advanced care.
Family sources confirmed that the mother and all four babies are safe. Pushpa was first treated in the medicine ward and later shifted to the surgery department for further observation. Hospital authorities have not yet issued an official statement, but relatives expressed relief that the condition of both mother and children remains stable.
The news of quadruplet girls has quickly become a topic of discussion across the region. Such rare births often draw public attention and highlight the importance of specialised medical care.
