In a decisive move ahead of the Nuapada bypoll, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has assigned eight ministers to oversee eight key zones in the constituency.
The strategy aims to intensify the party’s campaign and mobilize support at the local level.
According to party sources, the zone-wise responsibilities are as follows:
- Banjari: Rabi Narayan Naik
- Sunadei: Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia
- Pataleswar: Gokulananda Mallik
- Jayjangha: Krushna Chandra Patra
- Konabhaira: Bibhuti Bhushan Jena
- Yogeshwar: Nityananda Gond
- Nuapada NAC: Mukesh Mahaling
- Khariar Road NAC: Krushna Chandra Mahapatra
Each minister will lead outreach efforts, coordinate booth-level activities, and engage with local voters to consolidate BJP’s presence in the region. The move reflects the party’s focused approach to reclaiming the Nuapada seat.
