Double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker has secured her participation in the upcoming World Cups in Argentina and Peru.
The 23-year-old shooter will compete in both air pistol and sports pistol events, as announced by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
Notably, the other two shooting Olympic medallists from Paris, Sarabjot Singh and Swapnil Kusale, did not make the national team. However, Saurabh Chaudhary, an Asian Games gold medallist, Olympic finalist, and multiple World Cup gold medallist, has been selected for the air pistol event.
The first World Cup for rifle, pistol, and shotgun is scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from April 1 to 11. The second World Cup in all three disciplines will be hosted in Lima, Peru, from April 13 to 22.
