Bhubaneswar: Under the impact of Nor’wester, several districts witnessed intermittent spells of rains, providing the much-needed respite from the scorching heat.
Yesterday, Keonjhar received maximum rainfall of 62.1 mm, followed by Korei (56.2 mm), Danagadi (56 mm), Bhubaneswar (36.2 mm), Cuttack (31.2 mm) and Bhadrak (34.2 mm).
The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar predicted that there would be no impact of Nor’wester for two days from today.
While the day temperature plummeted by three to four degree Celsius in most districts, the coastal districts had an overcast sky. However, the interior Odisha didn’t see much change in the climate condition.
