Mumbai: Liam Livingstone cracked an unbeaten 49 off just 22 balls while Shikhar Dhawan (39) played a solid knock at the top as Punjab Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 5 wickets in the final game of the league stage of IPL 2022. Chasing 158 for victory, Punjab crossed the finish line with 29 balls to spare.

Sunrisers Hyderabad opted to bat after winning the toss against Punjab Kings in an inconsequential last league match of the IPL on Sunday. For Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is leading the side in place of Kane Williamson, who has left the bio-bubble for home after the 13th game to be with his wife for the birth of their second child.

It is time for the playoffs now as the caravan moves to Kolkata and first up it will be Gujarat going up against Rajasthan in that all-important Qualifier 1. You can catch all the action from that game on Tuesday, 24th of May at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT).
