The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reached the residence of the deceased victim of the Pahalgam terror attack, Prashant Satpathy, in Isani village, Balasore district.
Prashant’s wife, Bijayalakshmi Acharya, was questioned extensively by the investigating officers to gather vital details about the attack that claimed her husband’s life.
Arriving at around 12:45 PM, the NIA team began a thorough interrogation focusing on Prashant’s whereabouts during the attack, the sequence of events, and any critical information witnessed by Bijayalakshmi. The investigators also commenced questioning their son, aiming to piece together the incident from different perspectives.
The investigation is being conducted under strict confidentiality, with family members excluded from the interrogation room and no external entry allowed into the house. This intense questioning underscores the urgency of identifying the perpetrators and understanding the attack in detail.
Authorities have assured that significant updates will be provided as the investigation progresses, bringing hope for justice to Prashant’s grieving family and addressing critical concerns about security measures in the wake of the tragedy.
