The NEET PG 2024 counselling registration date has been extended for round three, with choice filling starting today on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The final seat allotment list will be released on January 18.
Following a reduction in the NEET PG cut-off percentile, the MCC has revised the schedule for round three. Candidates can fill and lock their choices until January 16, with the choice locking facility available between 8 am on January 15 and 8 am on January 16.
The seat allotment process will take place on January 16 and 17, and the reporting and joining at allotted colleges will be conducted from January 18 to January 25.
Eligible candidates for this round include general and EWS category students scoring 15th percentile and above, while those from SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories require a 10 percentile and above to qualify.
The earlier NEET PG cut-off was set at the 50th percentile for general category students, 45th percentile for PwD candidates, and 40th percentile for reserved categories.
This year’s cut-off revision follows the pattern of previous adjustments. In 2022, the NEET PG cut-off was reduced significantly, with the qualifying percentile lowered to 35 for general candidates, 20 for unreserved PwD candidates, and 20 for SC, ST, and OBC candidates, compared to the original 50, 45, and 40 percentiles, respectively.
