The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unveiled its 2025 Bihar election manifesto, Sankalp Patra, pledging transformative development across employment, infrastructure, education, and social welfare.
The announcement came just days before Phase 1 of the assembly polls.
Union leaders including JP Nadda, Chirag Paswan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, CM Nitish Kumar, and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary presented the manifesto. Choudhary emphasized the creation of 1 crore jobs through government employment, skill-based opportunities, and Mega Skill Centres in every district. These centres will evolve into Global Skilling Hubs.
The manifesto also promises 1 crore ‘Lakhpathi Didis’ under the Mission Crorepati initiative, aiming to empower women entrepreneurs. Financial aid up to ₹2 lakh will be provided under the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme.
Infrastructure pledges include seven expressways, seven international airports, and metro rail services in four cities beyond Patna. The NDA plans to build ten industrial parks, 100 MSME parks, and 50,000 cottage industries, along with semiconductor and defence corridors.
Education reforms feature free schooling from KG to PG for poor students and ₹2,000 monthly aid for SC students in higher education. Healthcare promises include one medical college per district, a world-class medicity, and free treatment up to ₹5 lakh.
Farmers and fishermen will benefit from increased annual aid under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and fisheries schemes. Cultural initiatives include renaming Punaura Dham Janki Mandir to Sitapuram.
The NDA aims to modernize 3,600 km of railway tracks and establish sports cities and excellence centres across divisions.
