Allu Sirish is set to marry his longtime partner Nayanika Reddy in a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony in Hyderabad on Friday.

Ahead of the wedding, the couple celebrated several pre-wedding rituals that blended festive celebrations with cultural traditions. Nayanika shared glimpses of these ceremonies on social media, giving fans a look at the joyful moments leading up to the big day.

Mangala Snanam Ceremony

One of the key rituals before a Telugu wedding is the mangala snanam, a traditional ceremonial bath believed to purify and bless the bride and groom.

Nayanika posted a video of the ritual, which she mentioned is called mailapolu in her family tradition. In the video, family members apply turmeric and nalugu paste to the bride before the ceremonial bath.

The ceremony was filled with laughter and celebration as relatives gathered around to participate in the ritual.

Reacting to the video, Sirish shared it on his Instagram Stories and joked that he wished the tradition allowed the groom to attend the event.

Mehendi and Pasupu Danchadam Celebrations

Nayanika also shared photos from her mehendi ceremony, where intricate henna designs were applied to her hands.

Another important ritual was pasupu danchadam, a ceremony that involves grinding turmeric as part of traditional wedding preparations.

For the occasion, Nayanika wore a gold and purple saree paired with traditional jewelry while participating in the rituals.

Blessings from the Allu Family

Members of the Allu family attended the ceremonies to bless the bride.

These included Sirish’s father Allu Aravind and his brother Allu Arjun along with Arjun’s wife Sneha Reddy and their son Ayaan.

Family members from the extended Allu-Konidela family were also present for the celebrations.

Wedding Ceremony in Hyderabad

The couple will tie the knot in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.

Interestingly, the wedding date coincides with the anniversary of Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy’s wedding, which took place 15 years ago.

Before the ceremony, the couple hosted several celebrations, including a pre-wedding reception at Allu Studios and a gathering with friends in Dubai.

How the Couple Met

Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy reportedly met in 2023 at a celebration hosted by actor Nithiin and his wife Shalini Kandukuri during the wedding festivities of Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi.

The two began dating soon after and got engaged in October 2025.

Members of the extended film family, including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Upasana Konidela, Sai Durgha Tej and Niharika Konidela, are expected to attend the wedding celebrations.
