Officers from the National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today at Lok Seva Bhawan as part of their study tour.
The delegation included senior officers from the Indian Armed Forces along with military officials from Armenia, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, and Nepal.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister stated that for him, the meaning of “nation” is synonymous with “national service.” He stressed that this commitment is deeply connected with the emotions and dedication of every military officer.
Majhi also saluted the courage and bravery displayed by the Indian Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor. He said the operation demonstrated discipline, determination, and selfless service, which earned his highest admiration.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister highlighted Odisha’s ancient legacy of valour and heroism. He explained how the state has created a new identity across India through achievements in industry, infrastructure, education, sports, and disaster management.
In addition, officers from the visiting countries engaged in discussions with the Chief Minister and praised Odisha’s rapid development across multiple sectors.
