The dead body of a missing youth was found under the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Bridge in Cuttack’s Katahjodi River on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Prateek Das, a Plus 2 student from Bhubaneswar. He had been missing since the previous day.
Prateek’s body was found by locals, who alerted the police, who are now looking into the cause of death.
Das, who had been visiting relatives, was last seen in Cuttack after taking an Uber ride. His phone was turned off after 10:30 PM the night before. The reasons and circumstances behind his death are yet to be ascertained.
