In a heart-wrenching plea, Sephali Suna, mother of beloved Odia playback singer Humane Sagar, has lodged a formal complaint at Cuttack’s Markat Nagar Police Station, demanding an immediate FIR and exhaustive investigation into her son’s “suspicious and untimely” demise.
The music icon breathed his last under unclear circumstances, leaving crores of admirers in grief. In her detailed eight-page missive, Suna alleges possible foul play—including poisoning, criminal negligence, or abetment—fueled by marital discord and external pressures. She points fingers at her late son’s wife, Shreya Mishra, for “baseless allegations” and media smears that allegedly harassed Humane, exacerbating family rifts and denying him access to his daughter, New Angel.
Suna urges police to scour CCTV footage from Humane’s Cuttack residence, seize digital devices for forensic analysis, trace financial trails, and scrutinize medical records spanning four years. Key figures like Mishra’s family, Dr. Subhendu Mishra, Arpita Choudhury, and associates including Somesh Satpathy face scrutiny for potential motives tied to money, properties, and evidence tampering.
“I seek truth for my son and his fans,” Suna wrote, forwarding copies to Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi. Police confirmed receipt but offered no timeline. As whispers of conspiracy swirl on social media, this could unravel a saga of stardom shadowed by betrayal.
