The Government of India has launched the DhartiAaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan, a massive nationwide initiative ensuring benefit saturation across 550 tribal districts, 207 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG)-dominated areas, and 1 lakh villages.
Union Tribal Affairs Minister Shri Jual Oram emphasised that the Abhiyan reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Antyodaya, ensuring dignity, self-respect, and shared progress for India’s tribal communities. The program aligns with Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh, honouring India’s rich tribal heritage.
From June 15 to June 30, the campaign will roll out flagship benefit saturation camps, ensuring seamless access to government services, including Aadhaar enrolment, Ayushman Bharat health cards, Jan Dhan accounts, PM-Kisan registrations, pensions, scholarships, and skill training. District administrations, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and community leaders are mobilising grassroots participation, ensuring no eligible tribal household is left behind.
With synchronised efforts across multiple ministries, the DhartiAaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan stands as a model for convergence-based, community-driven development, empowering tribal populations and strengthening their role in Viksit Bharat.
