Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, a six-year-old boy drowned in a pond under Bhuban Police Station in Dhenkanal district.
The deceased has been identified as Rusikesh Nayak, son of Ramakant Nayak.
According to reports, the incident took place while Rusikesh had gone to the playground along with his elder brother when he accidentally slipped into the nearby pond and drowned. The family member searched him and later recovered his body from the pond.
