A tragic case has unfolded in Kendupadar, Phulbani, where a minor boy, Abhijit Bagarti, was found dead under suspicious circumstances, prompting police to detain his father, Pramod Bagarti. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Sources reveal that Pramod, a habitual drunkard, frequently caused disturbances at home, leading to heated disputes with his wife, Jayanti. Neighbors allege that he often assaulted both his wife and son in a drunken state, fueling suspicions over Abhijit’s death.

While some believe the boy may have died by suicide, frustrated by domestic violence, others suspect foul play, pointing fingers at the father.

Authorities are thoroughly investigating whether the boy’s death was suicide or homicide. Pramod remains in police custody as questioning continues, with officials urging locals to provide any relevant information.

The shocking incident has left Kendupadar residents shaken. As the investigation unfolds, the community is demanding swift action and justice for young Abhijit.
