A tragic incident shocked Puri when a youth from Bantaru in Bhadrak district, who came to attend a relative’s funeral, was killed after a heated argument escalated near Chaitanya Chhak.
According to reports, the victim engaged in a minor dispute with another youth. The quarrel quickly turned violent, and the accused attacked him fatally. The sudden murder created panic and unrest in the locality.
Police from the Sea Beach station rushed to the spot after receiving information. Officers detained the accused and began interrogation to uncover the motive behind the attack. Investigators are probing whether the incident stemmed from personal enmity or a spontaneous clash.
