The state experienced temperatures exceeding 37 degrees Celsius for the first time this season on Wednesday, with Jharsuguda recording the highest at 37 degrees Celsius, according to the IMD regional centre’s weather report.
On Wednesday, 10 locations across Odisha reported maximum temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius, while the capital city saw a high of 34.8 degrees Celsius, and Cuttack recorded 33.2 degrees Celsius.
