Mayurbhanj Police have arrested six individuals in connection with the June 22 firing incident on National Highway-18 near the Kuliana police limits.

The violent act, allegedly carried out during a robbery attempt, left a 30-year-old man critically injured, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The operation was conducted under the strategic guidance of DGP Odisha and the direct supervision of DIG Eastern Range Dr. Satyajit Nayak. Spearheaded by SP Mayurbhanj, the investigation team pieced together crucial evidence using advanced CCTV analytics and forensic inputs. One weapon was recovered from the accused, leading to an airtight identification.

Officials lauded the police for their swift action and precise detection in cracking the case. Law enforcement authorities reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to protecting public safety and upholding justice.
