The meticulous evaluation of matriculation examination answer scripts began today across the state, marking a crucial phase in the academic calendar. Organised by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), the assessment process is being carried out at 51 designated centres to ensure smooth and comprehensive coverage.
Among these centres, 47 are exclusively assigned to matriculation script evaluation, while the remaining four cater to other educational functions—two for intermediate-level assessments and two for the state open school system.
Around 12,000 teachers have been deployed by the board to handle the evaluation workload efficiently. To maintain transparency and uphold standards, each centre is assigned a Centre Observer responsible for monitoring the process and ensuring strict adherence to guidelines.
Upon completion of evaluations, observers will upload the marks directly onto the official website, streamlining the process and reinforcing accountability.
The BSE aims to declare the results in the first week of May, enabling students and educational institutions to plan their next academic or professional steps without delay.
