The Forest Wing of Odisha Vigilance busted an illegal sawmill in Balasore district and seized accessories and valuable timber worth over Rs 23 lakhs.
The sawmill was operating without proper authorization, leading to the raid and subsequent seizure of assets.
In a joint forest raid conducted on Tuesday by Forest Wing of Odisha Vigilance on the running of two illegal sawmills without a valid licenses at village Dadhibamanpur, Ambagadia and Maitapur under Simulia Police Station in Balasore, sawmill accessories along with 230.81 cft valuable timber worth Rs.23.49 Lakhs detected and seized.
