Customs officials seized marijuana worth around Rs 4 crore at the Biju Patnaik International Airport during routine security checks.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, officers intercepted the baggage of a passenger arriving on an international flight and recovered a large quantity of marijuana concealed inside.
Moreover, officials detained one person in connection with the case and began questioning him. However, they have not disclosed the identity of the individual.
Furthermore, preliminary information revealed that the passenger had arrived in Bhubaneswar on an IndiGo flight from Bangkok.
