A tragic road accident near Joda in Keonjhar district on Monday night has claimed the lives of three individuals, leaving the local community in shock and mourning.
The tragedy has prompted an immediate response from Odisha’s Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, who expressed profound sorrow over the loss of lives.
In a statement shared via the official X handle of the Chief Minister’s Office (@CMO_Odisha), Majhi extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh per deceased from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).

Majhi also wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the accident. “I am deeply saddened by the news of the road accident in Keonjhar near Joda, where three lives were lost. My thoughts are with the grieving families, and I pray for the swift recovery of the injured,” the Chief Minister stated.
