Keonjhar Pre-Poll Violence: Independent Candidate’s Supporter Attacked By BJD Workers

Keonjhar : A supporter of independent candidate Soumya Ranjan Patnaik was allegedly attacked by BJD workers at Ghasipura Assembly constituency in Keonjhar on Wednesday night. The victim has been identified as Basanta Chakra of Pandua village. As per reports, about six supporters of BJD candidate Badri Narayan Patra came in two vehicles and allegedly attacked Basant sustained critical injuries in the process. As a result, Basant sustained critical injuries. He has been admitted to Saintala Community Health Centre. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
