The International Cricket Council (ICC) posted photographs of Bumrah with his awards, sharing the moment with fans on social media. In a heartwarming gesture, Bumrah also spent time with his India teammates during their warm-up drills.
Bumrah’s remarkable Test season saw him claim 71 wickets in 13 matches, making him only the fourth Indian bowler to achieve 70 or more wickets in a calendar year. His efforts were instrumental in India’s successful campaign at the T20 World Cup in the Americas, where he took 15 wickets.
As Bumrah continues his recovery, the cricketing world eagerly anticipates his return to the field.
