A woman has been accused of killing her husband and burying his body in the backyard of their home in Dubikhal village, located under the Sansailo panchayat within the Sukinda police station limits in Jajpur district.

Gumari Munda, 26, the daughter of Mara Deogam from Dubikhal village, confessed to the Sukinda police that she murdered her husband, Babuli Munda, and buried him in their backyard.

Gumari voluntarily surrendered at the Sukinda police station on Sunday and admitted to the crime.

The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. It is expected that the body, which is buried underground, will be recovered tomorrow with the assistance of a scientific team.
