Ahead of the highly anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the tournament’s coveted trophy arrived at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, on Sunday.
The defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), brought the trophy as part of the trophy tour and presented it before the deities for blessings. A special puja ceremony was conducted for the trophy.
The arrival of the IPL trophy drew a large crowd of fans and devotees near the Singha Dwara, eager to catch a glimpse of the prestigious trophy.
As per the schedule, the trophy will also be displayed at the Nexus Esplanade Mall in Bhubaneswar and will continue its tour, visiting prominent locations across the country before the tournament kicks off in March.
