New Delhi: As many as 27,000 tickets were put up for sale by the Delhi Districts Cricket Association for the first T20I between India and South Africa and 94 percent of them were solid as of June 7. India will begin the 5-match T20I series with the opening game on June 9 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
As the capital city gears up to host an international cricket match for the first time since 2019, the DDCA has made elaborate arrangements to make sure it’s a memorable evening for the stars and the supporters of the game.
The DDCA has also made arrangements for senior citizens to use golf carts to enter the stadium from the area where personal vehicles will not be allowed.
With the Covid-19 situation coming under control, spectators are back at the stadiums. However, the DDCA will request fans to make sure they are wearing face masks during their stay in the stands.
