The iconic hockey rivalry between India and Pakistan will take center stage in England next year as part of the FIH Pro League’s seventh season.
The two teams are set to face off between June 23–28, 2026, in what promises to be one of the most anticipated fixtures of the tournament.
Pakistan, which lost to New Zealand in the FIH Nations Cup final, was invited to join the Pro League after the Black Sticks withdrew. This marks Pakistan’s debut in the elite competition, replacing Ireland, who was relegated after finishing last in the previous season.
The Pro League’s seventh edition will kick off on December 9, 2025, in Ireland and span 144 matches across 10 host nations. India will also host matches in February 2026, with the men’s team playing against Argentina and Belgium.
The India-Pakistan matches in England are expected to draw massive crowds and global attention, reigniting one of hockey’s most storied rivalries on neutral turf. The full match schedule is set to be released on Wednesday.
