New Delhi: The Indian team will be playing the 1st ODI against Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka on Sunday. The India vs Bangladesh 1st ODI match will start at 11:30 AM (IST).
This will be 3-match ODI series that will be marking the return of Rohit Sharma as skipper. The Bangla Tigers will be featuring in their first ODI series after being kicked out of the T20 World Cup 2022. Both teams will be looking to put up a good show in order to win the series.
Umran Malik replaces Mohd. Shami in India’s ODI squad
Fast bowler Mohd. Shami sustained a shoulder injury during a training session in the lead up to the ODI series against Bangladesh. He is currently under the supervision of the BCCI Medical Team at the NCA, Bengaluru and will not be able to take part in the three-match series. The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Umran Malik as Shami’s replacement.
Today, the Captains of the two teams unveiled the ODI series trophy on the eve of the 1st ODI at SBNCS, Mirpur. “It’s going be an exciting challenge against Bangladesh”, said India Captain Rohit Sharma, at a press today.
The BCCI had yesterday shared some snapshots from Team India’s first training session in Bangladesh ahead of the three-match ODI series.
