The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the India Under‑19 squad for the upcoming Asia Cup, scheduled from December 12 to 21 in the United Arab Emirates.
Chennai Super Kings batter Ayush Mhatre will captain the 15‑member side, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vihaan Malhotra feature among the key names.
India will face arch‑rivals Pakistan on December 14 at the ICC Academy in Dubai, a fixture that promises high intensity. The tournament will serve as a crucial preparatory event ahead of the Under‑19 ODI World Cup in 2026.
Currently, the U‑19 players are engaged in a tri‑series at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. India U‑19 A will meet Afghanistan U‑19 in the final on Sunday, giving selectors a close look at emerging talent before the Asia Cup.
