New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry today informed that at 1.73 lakh daily new COVID-19 cases, a declining trend in new cases is spotted in India.
India recorded 173,790 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest daily count in 46 days, as infections continued to decrease in the country. The daily death toll, however, remained over the 3,000-mark, with 3,617 deaths. India’s total cases now stand at 27,729,247, while total fatalities are at 322,512, according to MoHFW. Test positivity rate has fallen to 8.35%.
Besides, Active caseload further declined to 22,28,724 with active cases decrease by 1,14,428 in last 24 hours.
