This achievement is significant as such a high run chase in limited overs is rare and highly celebrated, reflecting the team’s current form and confidence.

The chase was also marked by crucial contributions from

Rohit Sharma’s century and Shubman Gill’s half-century (60 runs) were pivotal in the chase while players like Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, and Hardik Pandya marked crucial contributions.

Despite losing quick wickets, India maintained the required run rate and achieved the target in 44.3 overs.

England set a target of 304 runs, with notable performances from their players. They faced challenges due to the floodlight malfunction, which caused interruptions during the game.

Key players like Joe Root and Ben Duckett made significant contributions, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win.

India’s win in this match not only gave them a 2-0 lead in the series but also showcased strong performances from several key players.
