The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the nominees for the Women’s Player of the Month award for February 2026, spotlighting three standout performers from Asia.
India’s pace bowler Arundhati Reddy earned her nomination after spearheading India’s historic 2-1 T20I series win in Australia. She finished as the leading wicket-taker with eight wickets at an average of 10.87, including match-winning figures of 4 for 22. Her breakthroughs at crucial stages proved decisive in dismantling Australia’s batting order.
Pakistan captain Fatima Sana impressed with her all-round brilliance during the South Africa tour. She emerged as the leading run-scorer in the T20I series, smashing 146 runs at an average of 73.00 and a strike rate of 184.81. Her explosive 90 off 41 balls in the first T20I set a new record for Pakistani women’s cricket. Sana also contributed with the ball, taking six wickets across formats.
Sri Lanka’s Harshitha Samarawickrama secured her place on the list after guiding her team to a 2-1 ODI series victory in the Caribbean. She topped the run charts with 171 runs at an average of 57.00, recording scores of 66, 35, and 70 to anchor the batting lineup.
