New Delhi: Huawei has recently launched its latest MateBook X Pro 2022 notebook in China. The laptop comes with 11th-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, as well as 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The laptop is the successor to Huawei’s MateBook X Pro 2022, which was released earlier this year and features upgrades to charging, cooling, and the trackpad. Read on to know more.

Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 is priced at CNY 9,499 (roughly Rs. 1,11,900) for the Intel Core i5 model with 16GB and 512GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Intel Core i7 model with 16GB model with 512GB of storage is priced at CNY 10,499 (roughly Rs. 1,23,700) while the 1TB variant is priced at CNY 12,499 (roughly Rs. 1,47,300). Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 is available in Emerald, Silver, and Space Gray colour options and will go on sale in China on January 6, according to the company’s website.

Intel Core i7-1195G7 or Intel Core i5-1155G7 processors power the new Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022. The laptop has 12GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD storage options. Huawei claims that the MateBook X Pro 2022 comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.
A 14.2-inch (3,120×2,080 pixels) LTPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 92.5 percent is included with the laptop. According to Huawei, the multi-touch touchscreen display supports P3 wide colour gamut and has a maximum brightness of 500 nits. There are six speakers and four microphones on the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022, as well as a webcam with a resolution of 710p.
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 are both supported by the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022. It has a 3.5mm jack as well as four USB Type-C ports that can be used for data, charging, and DisplayPort. On the power button is a fingerprint reader, and there’s a pressure-sensitive trackpad with gestures for screenshots, screen recording, brightness, playback, and volume control.
The older Huawei MateBook X Pro 2021 had a smaller display than the new Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022, which features a Shark Fin fan cooling system as well as better charging and thermal management. The laptop has a 60Wh battery, according to Huawei. The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 measures 31×22.1×1.5cm and weighs 1.38kg.
