A pick-up van smuggling more than 30 cattle crashed into an electric pole in Bhadrak, Odisha, during a high-speed escape attempt from police authorities.

The incident took place in the Gujidarada area, where the vehicle, suspected of illegal cattle transportation, lost control while evading capture and collided with a power pole.

Police had launched an operation following reports of unlawful cattle trade. As officers moved to intercept the vehicle, the driver attempted a reckless escape, leading to the crash. The collision incapacitated the vehicle, allowing law enforcement to rescue the animals and take three individuals into custody.

Authorities are continuing investigations to dismantle the smuggling network and prevent further illegal activities related to cattle transportation.
