Aamir Khan Productions has officially announced its quirky spy film titled *Happy Patel*, which marks the directorial debut of Vir Das. The film features Vir Das alongside Mona Singh.
The announcement unfolds in an unconventional and humorous way, showcased in a funny video featuring Aamir Khan and Vir Das. In the video, Aamir Khan questions Vir Das about his approach to depicting action, romance, and even an item number in the film. While Aamir expresses concern about how the audience might react, the video simultaneously includes others praising the film, creating an entertaining contrast.
This project promises a different kind of cinema, consistent with Aamir Khan Productions’ history of innovative storytelling. The production company has delivered remarkable films such as *Lagaan*, *Taare Zameen Par*, *Dangal*, and *Secret Superstar*, and *Happy Patel* represents yet another unique venture.
Additionally, this film features collaboration with renowned stand-up comedian Vir Das, who has gained acclaim for his comedy specials performed globally, as well as for his roles in films like *Go Goa Gone*, *Badmaash Company*, and *Delhi Belly*. *Happy Patel* marks Vir’s second collaboration with Aamir Khan Productions, following *Delhi Belly*.
