Actor Govinda fainted at his Mumbai residence late Tuesday night, and doctors rushed him to the hospital for urgent medical care.
His lawyer and close friend Lalit Bindal confirmed that medical teams conducted all necessary tests and reported the actor’s condition as stable.
Moreover, Bindal explained that Govinda felt disoriented before collapsing, which immediately prompted medical attention. Consequently, doctors completed a full evaluation and are now awaiting neurological consultation reports to determine further treatment. Importantly, no complications have been reported since his admission.
Previously, Govinda faced another serious health challenge when he suffered a gunshot wound to his leg last year. The accident occurred in October while he was handling his licensed revolver at home. As the weapon slipped, it misfired and struck him under the knee. Subsequently, he was admitted to Criticare Hospital near his Juhu residence, where surgeons extracted the bullet after an hour-long operation.
Afterwards, Govinda recalled the frightening moment, describing how the revolver fell and discharged unexpectedly, leaving him stunned as blood gushed from the wound. His manager further explained that the actor had been placing the revolver inside a cupboard when the mishap occurred.
Following his recovery from the firearm injury, Govinda resumed his professional commitments and continued working actively in films and shows. However, his latest health scare has raised concern among fans and colleagues. Still, his representatives assured that he is receiving appropriate care. Meanwhile, doctors remain focused on neurological evaluations to ensure his recovery.
Ultimately, Govinda’s hospitalisation highlights the resilience of the veteran actor, who has faced multiple health challenges yet continues to remain active in the entertainment industry.
