Ganjam: A gas tanker carrying LPG overturned on NH-16 near Tampara in Chhatrapur area of Ganjam district today. However, no causality was reported in the incident.
Reportedly, the incident occurred after the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels due to dense fog in the region.
On being informed, police reached the spot and sealed both ends of the NH as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, the electricity supply to Chhatrapur town was discontinued to avoid any chances of fire mishap.
