Ganjam: In the wake of a sudden rise in Coronavirus cases in several States, the district administration here has made RT-PCR test reports mandatory for people returning from hotspot places.
The people arriving from hotspot states will have to either show their recent RT-PCR test report or stay in seven-day home quarantine, informed Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange today.
Besides, the Collector requested organisers of the famous Budhi Thakurani Jatra and Danda Nacha not to invite Prabasi Odias (non-resident Odias) to attend the annual festivals.
If we see large number of attendees at the festivals, we will have to withdraw the permission that has been given for holding of the events, the Collector added.
