TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has appointed Shri Gajanan S. Kale as its new CEO (Designate).
With over 33 years of experience in the power distribution sector, Kale has played a pivotal role in enhancing energy efficiency across various Indian utilities.
A distinguished alumnus of NIT Nagpur and IIM Ahmedabad, Kale has previously held key leadership roles at Delhi Distribution Corporation (TPDDL), TPADL Ajmer, and TPWODL Odisha. Expressing his vision for TPNODL, he reaffirmed his commitment to delivering reliable and quality electricity services by implementing modern technology and innovative management strategies.
TPNODL currently serves approximately 9.7 million people, managing electricity distribution across Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Jajpur districts, covering a total area of 27,920 square kilometres. Kale’s appointment is expected to strengthen the utility’s operational efficiency and consumer satisfaction.
