A fire broke out in the Nilagiri Reserve Forest near Anlapal today, causing widespread concern among locals and the forest department.

The fire, first reported in the Gopalpur forest area this morning, has spread to other parts of the jungle throughout the day. Despite efforts by the forest department, the fire remains uncontrollable, raising fears of its impact on wildlife.

With the intense heat and flames, animals, birds, and reptiles are reportedly moving towards human habitats, creating anxiety among nearby villagers.

Residents have also stepped in to assist the forest department, but limited resources have hampered their ability to contain the blaze.

As the fire rages on, the situation calls for urgent action and greater support to prevent further damage.
