In the aftermath of India’s retaliatory Operation Sindoor, national security agencies are intensifying their crackdown on internal threats allegedly connected to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

    • Arrested by Hisar Police following central intel tip-offs.

    • Accused of being groomed by PIOs (Pakistani Intelligence Operatives).

    • Visited Pakistan and China, with a trip right before the Pahalgam terror attack.

    • Maintained contact with high-profile individuals in Pakistan, some designated persona non grata by India.

  • Current Status: In custody; under intensive interrogation.

2. Shahzad – Businessman from Tanda, Uttar Pradesh

  • Charges: Cross-border espionage, illegal smuggling, aiding ISI

  • Details:

    • Arrested by the UP STF (Moradabad Unit) on Sunday.

    • Accused of passing classified security-related info to handlers in Pakistan.

    • Reportedly traveled to Pakistan multiple times.

  • Current Status: Under custody; sensitive digital evidence seized.

3. Devendra – Civilian from Kaithal, Haryana

  • Charges: Espionage, aiding Pakistan Army and ISI

  • Details:

    • Arrested on May 17 based on intelligence inputs.

    • Allegedly shared sensitive conflict-related updates and intel on Operation Sindoor.

    • Devices and communication under forensic probe.

  • Police Quote:

“He used to provide information about the dispute going on between India and Pakistan to ISI and the Pak Army.”

 4. Priyanka Senapati – YouTuber from Odisha

  • Status: Under Investigation

  • Details:

    • Known for travel vlogs; reportedly close to Jyoti Malhotra.

    • Visited Kartarpur Corridor in Pakistan three to four months ago.

    • Puri Police and Intelligence Bureau (IB) are probing her interactions, travels, and digital trails.

  • Police Quote:

“We are investigating all angles, including travel, contacts, and social media ties.”

The arrests come amid heightened tensions post Operation Sindoor, where India struck 9 terrorist targets in Pakistan and PoK.

Indian agencies are closely monitoring cyber, social media, and travel activities for infiltration attempts by Pakistani intelligence using influencers, businessmen, and unsuspecting civilians.
