The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has introduced a series of special trains to cater to the increased passenger demand during the Holi festival.
The initiative aims to provide hassle-free travel and manage the additional rush on busy routes.
Holi Special Trains:
- Bhubaneswar – Cherlapalli (Hyderabad) Holi Special:
- Train No: 08479/08480
- Runs from Bhubaneswar on Mondays (10th March to 24th March 2025).
- Returns from Cherlapalli on Tuesdays (11th March to 25th March 2025).
- Puri-Kolkata Holi Special:
- Train No: 03101/03102
- Runs from Kolkata on 13th, 18th, & 20th March 2025.
- Returns from Puri on 14th, 19th, & 21st March 2025.
- Visakhapatnam – Bengaluru Holi Special:
- Train No: 08549/08550
- Runs from Visakhapatnam on Sundays (9th March to 23rd March 2025).
- Returns from Bengaluru on Mondays (10th March to 24th March 2025).
Extended Services of Special Trains:
- Udhna (Surat) – Khurda Road Special: Extended until the last week of April 2025.
- Santragachhi – Puri – Santragachhi Weekly Special: Extended until the last week of June 2025.
- Shalimar – Puri – Shalimar Weekly Special: Extended until the last week of June 2025.
- Bhanjapur (Baripada) – Puri – Bhanjapur Bi-weekly Special: Extended until the last week of June 2025.
- Bhubaneswar – Yesvantpur – Bhubaneswar Weekly Special: Extended until the last week of April 2025.
- Sambalpur – Erode – Sambalpur Weekly Special: Extended until the last week of April 2025.
- Visakhapatnam – Shalimar – Visakhapatnam Weekly Special: Extended until the last week of April 2025.
- Bhubaneswar – Dhanbad – Bhubaneswar Daily Special: Extended until the last week of April 2025.
- Visakhapatnam – Tirupati – Visakhapatnam Weekly Special: Extended until the last week of April 2025.
