The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to share suggestions for improving the ECINet App by January 10, 2026.
Citizens can download the app and submit feedback using the “Submit a Suggestion” tab.
The trial version of ECINet already delivers better voter services, quicker access to polling percentage trends, and faster publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of polls. Previously, this exercise took several weeks or months. Moreover, the app was successfully tested during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and subsequent bye-elections.
Continuous Improvement
The platform continues to evolve as officials refine it based on feedback from CEOs, DEOs, EROs, Observers, and field staff. In addition, user suggestions will be examined carefully, and updates will be rolled out to make the app more user-friendly. The official launch of ECINet is scheduled for this month.
Leadership and Development
ECINet stands as a major initiative led by Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr Vivek Joshi. Work on the app began after its announcement on May 4, 2025, and development has progressed steadily since then.
Unified Platform
Furthermore, ECINet integrates 40 separate election-related applications and websites into one interface. These include the Voter Helpline App (VHA), cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends (Voter Turnout App), and Know Your Candidate (KYC) App. Citizens can download ECINet from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
