The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced special train services between Berhampur and Puri to accommodate the surge of passengers during the Kartik Purnima festival. The additional trains aim to ensure safe and comfortable travel for devotees visiting Puri for the holy occasion.

According to the ECoR, one special train will operate from Berhampur to Puri, while two return specials will run from Puri to Berhampur.

The special services will help facilitate thousands of devotees visiting the Jagannath Temple in Puri to take part in the traditional Boita Bandana rituals held on Kartik Purnima.
